Navigate the three storey high Anderton Boat Lift, built in 1875 and known as Cathedral of the Canals and one of the Seven Wonders of the Waterways. It still carries out the job it was designed for almost 150 years ago, lifting boats and barges 50 feet from the River Weaver Navigation to the Trent and Mersey Canal.
Northwich Quay Marina has 51 berths, accommodating narrowboats, wide beams and cruisers, with water and electricity to each berth. Facilities include a laundry, elsan, storage and a fully stocked service quay.
