Paws Aboard Dog Awards 2025: Lakeland Leisure Estates Celebrated Canine Companions at Crick Boat Show
The spirit of fun and four-legged friendship was alive and well at the Crick Boat Show 2025, where Lakeland Leisure Estates proudly hosted the first-ever Paws Aboard Dog Awards. This charming new tradition launched with a splash, celebrating the unique bond between boaters and their beloved canine companions.
A Paw-some Debut at Crick Boat Show
With dozens of heartwarming entries from across the UK, the Paws Aboard Dog Awards brought together boating enthusiasts and dog lovers to honour the true stars of the waterways - our dogs. From sprightly pups to loyal senior dogs, every entry shared one thing in common: a love for life afloat.
BEST DOG IN SHOW
But one pup stood out from the pack. Sebastian, a charismatic canine with nautical flair, was crowned Best Dog in Show 2025 after receiving over 200 public votes.
His charming presence captured the hearts of attendees and online voters alike.
Sebastian’s proud owner, Anthony, will be enjoying a well-deserved two-night stay at a dog-friendly Lakeland Leisure Estates destination.
Celebrating Courage, Charm, and Canine Quirks

Goes to Mollie, honoured for her endless enthusiasm and impeccable towpath style.

Pet owners can look forward to Open Days at Barton Marina on 21st June 2025 and Roydon Marina Village on 19th July 2025, perfect opportunities to show off your pup and explore all that life on the water has to offer.
